SWOPPETS UPDATE!! Love these things, whatever the heck they are supposed to be. Will likely bust into that Betta Cake Decor set in another exciting video upload coming to your monitor or mobile device soon, not like I'd be selling it off & the figures are different enough from all the rest to want out on the desk. Am not 100% sure about my years of production other than 1968 for the Marx hill climber Moon Train box, and that the still sealed card by Betta is dated 1977. Have seen a carded set with a 1983 date as well. I seriously doubt the forms are still in production anywhere but there are likely warehouses of later-era leftovers which still get re-packaged as cake toppers. When you do manage to score some take care with the Cherilea figures, they have gone shamefully brittle and limbs will snap off just from basic handling. Making a grown man cry like that is mean. Keep em in a box!
