Inspiration behind and the Message of the song:
This song is based on the story in Matthew 8: 23-27 where Jesus and the disciples went to cross a lake and during the voyage Jesus fell asleep and a huge storm kicked up. The disciples feared for there lives and woke Jesus. Jesus raised His hand and said: "Be Still" and immediately, the storm was calmed! Then Jesus turned around and asked the disciples: "Why are you so afraid?"

My friend, when the storms of life come and the times get bad. What do you do? Do you panic? Do you fear for your life? Or do you trust in Jesus to get you through? Jesus is asking us to this day the same question He asked the disciples: "Why are you so afraid? I am with you. I will never abandon you." God is all-powerful! He is in control even when the situation seems like it's going out of control. Put your trust in Jesus today. Let Him be the captain of your life. He will get you through the storm and unto dry land. He is willing and capable of calming every storm in your life!
