Die_ is the first part of Dietrich, a musical taxonomy with which Birdhub proposes an exploration of the emotional, the contours between the primitive and the dreamy, and experimentation with different electronic genres. It's an organic sound characterized by the accumulation of vocal planes in the form of dense textures, fragmented rhythms that rumble the subwoofer, and acoustic instrumentations of pianos, strings and synths that all contribute to an evasive tempo where the form breaks and diffuses. In this universe, lyrics function as repurposed detritus: an unconscious flow of experiences, impressions and fantasies that when fragmented lose their original meaning to live only as sound, creating oblique lines of meaning.
