History & Description
Taramati Baradari is a historic pavilion (or “baradari” meaning “twelve doors”) located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, in the Ibrahim Bagh complex, near the Musi River. Savaari+3Wikipedia+3Love, Life, & Beyond+3
The pavilion is said to date from the Qutb Shahi period. The tourism department attributes its naming to Abdullah Qutb Shah (the seventh Sultan of Golconda), in honor of a courtesan-singer named Taramati. Wikipedia+2Savaari+2

Legends & Myths
Because of its romantic associations, Taramati Baradari has several legendary stories around it:
One popular legend says that the Sultan would sit at Golconda Fort, about 2 km away, and hear Taramati’s voice carried by the wind from the pavilion. Wikipedia+2Savaari+2
