Here are a few lessons Bobby has learned from St. JPII:

Be Not Afraid: In a world that tells us to just “be yourself” and do whatever leads to the most pleasure, JPII urges us to live our life for God and to not hold back from following his call.
Our Sexuality is a Gift: One of the works JPII is most famous for is his Theology of the Body, which can be paired with his text Love and Responsibility. Together, these two resources outline the purpose and beauty of the human body—male and female—and help us to realize our call on this earth through the eyes of an intentional God who created us for love.
Respect the Body of Christ: JPII would spend hours in front of the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration, often lying prostrate on the floor in worship of the Almighty. His devotion to prayer and veneration is an example of how to treat the Body of Christ with reverence. Our lives should revolve around prayer.
How to Suffer Well: Our world often tells us that suffering and pain should be avoided at all costs or we risk being unhappy and unfulfilled. In contrast, JPII’s life was filled with immense suffering, from the passing of his whole family, to his failed assassination attempt that left him in the hospital for months. He showed us that suffering can be redemptive in a real way, and can not only help us become better leaders and happier people, but can lead us straight to the Kingdom of God.
