While all three companies produce highly detailed and sought-after action figures, their involvement with Masters of the Universe differs:
Mattel is the primary license holder and producer of Masters of the Universe toys, offering a wide range of products including the popular "Origins" and "Masterverse" lines. Masterverse figures, known for their 7-inch scale and 30 points of articulation, aim for high detail, targeting collectors. The Origins line features figures with a more vintage feel, inspired by the original 1980s cartoon. Mattel also produces playsets and vehicles, like the Talon Fighter and Point Dread.
NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) has produced Masters of the Universe collectibles, including mini-busts and statues based on the 200x animated series. These were produced in a limited six-wave series, and some exclusives were offered at conventions.
Hasbro does not currently hold the Masters of the Universe license, meaning they do not produce MOTU action figures.
