Homestuck - Candles and Clockwork [Jazz Cover] | subversiveasset

Описание к видео Homestuck - Candles and Clockwork [Jazz Cover] | subversiveasset

This is a sax cover of Homestuck's "Candles and Clockwork" performed by subversiveasset.

Homestuck fans have been waiting a long time. Andrew Hussie appears to now be finished with End of Act 6 and Act 7, and now, it's just a matter of time of waiting each day for the daily upd8. Yet, as we wait, we cannot deny that it's been a wild ride. Homestuck has over 7,000 pages and 800,000 words, and has inspired a generation of cosplayers, fanfic authors...and musicians.

Who ever heard of a webcomic with not just one but several albums? I don't know how many webcomics were doing this before, but Homestuck has some awesome music, if you haven't checked this out. This piece, Candles and Clockwork, gets two versions: the beta version is from Homestuck Volume 5, while the alpha version remix is from Homestuck Volume 9.

As with my previous cover (of Final Fantasy Tactics "A Chapel"), I tried to do a relatively straight arrangement of Candles and Clockwork first...but you'll find that midway, things change up a bit. (I had actually always wanted to do a swing or jazz cover of Candles and Clockwork, but it's only now that I've gotten more of a feel of jazz drums, acoustic bass, and piano, that I feel more comfortable with it.)

If you are a fan of this and a fan of Homestuck, then please check out my much earlier (and more raw) swing cover of Moonsetter:
