Some progress was achieved by using PB Blaster and Evaporust I was able to removed the hood hinge pins with a little oomph. The key was to be patient and let the chems do their work.
New stainless rods are here already from Jim Carter Truck Parts. I have a media cabinet to connect to blast the hinges. I am going to have to remove the trim parts before that of course.
