Описание к видео 5 Acre Cover Crop SoCal High Desert Foothills.

On my 40 acre property there are two flood zones and on the smaller section I used 200 pounds of Tall Fescue which is drought tolerant and heat resistant mixed with 50 pounds of Clover.

This was done in mid October about 3 weeks after a huge storm passed through the Valley.
Since there has been many nights and morning of 80 percent and higher of humidity with an occasional sprinkle, and Over the last week the area has received about 2 inches of rain, which on 5 acres is about 500,000 gallons of water plus whatever flows onto property through flood zone.

The Goal is that the seeds absorbed moisture through the damp soil and from humid night/mornings enough to inoculate. With 6-7 weeks between time of seeding and anticipated first freeze, I am hopeful that the root system has established enough to survive the winter and will regrow very abundantly in the springtime, and after growth develops through the spring, I would like to cut it down and use that a as a way for re seeding and for mulch for the soil and watch it regrow again after Summer ends throughout the cool and wet Fall time.

There were piles of manure that resemble Mule Deer poop that I count as free manure.
Tons of Creosote bushes will be removed, and used as biomass. Eventually I will have ditches, culverts, large rocks, etc. to mitigate rate of flow and utilize the flood zone for irrigation of cover crops and other Land Management projects.
