18 guitar speakers comparison, Celestion, Scumback, Jensen, Eminence

Описание к видео 18 guitar speakers comparison, Celestion, Scumback, Jensen, Eminence

A comparison of 18 guitar speakers, using the same riff and under the same conditions.
Note that the soundfiles are NOT "normalized" (adjusted to the same maximum volume). This makes it easier to compare how loud each speaker plays.

My comment 4:10

I think the video is pretty self-explanatory but I can add:
- Guitar used was Nebelung Riffmeister with Tesla Opus1 pickups.
- On the Marshall JVM410HJS the orange crunch channel was used.
Bass, mid and treble 12 o'clock, gain 9, volume 10.
Resonance 12 o'clock, presence 10, master volume 10.
- Direct guitar riff was recorded using Line6 Backtrack+Mic
and then fed back to amp using an Iriver media player, no EQ used.
- Audacity sound editor was used for, yes, editing the soundfiles and for plotting speaker frequency response curves.

I hope you'll find this comparison useful or at least interesting :-)

Thanks! /Mats
