Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Nine O' Clock Players will not putting on a live show in the fall of 2020. Instead, we recorded our production of The Velveteen Rabbit and created exciting, educational activities for children. These are place throughout the show, and are hosted by "Bunny" from The Velveteen Rabbit. Activity times listed below!

About The Velveteen Rabbit

Based on the classic story by Margery Williams, this version of The Velveteen Rabbit begins with a young boy opening his gifts on Christmas day. Among all of his gifts is a beautiful, fluffy Velveteen Rabbit. After the holiday celebration, the boy's Nana throws the rabbit into the toy closet with all of his older toys. When the Velveteen Rabbit lands, all of the toys come to life and start to tease him, telling him he is old fashioned and good for nothing. They scold him for lacking the modern mechanical abilities of the tin soldier and the clockwork mouse. At least they all can do something, but all he can do is look cute! The Rocking Horse enters the scene and tell the Velveteen Rabbit that he can become real, but only if the boy really loves him. A heart-warming musical production for all ages about the power of love, and a little bit of magic.

With singing, dancing, and fantastical characters, The Velveteen Rabbit is another gorgeous production full of fun and excitement for audiences of all ages.
