How to download UFL for free
While the FIFA/EA Sports FC games have reigned supreme when it comes to association football video games, a new player has just entered the game. UFL, by Strikerz Inc, is a free alternative that promises a full-fledged, fun experience, and most importantly, one that doesn’t rely on a pay-to-win model.

UFL is now live on the Sony PlayStation Store, and here’s how you can download the game and start playing.

How to download UFL on your Sony PlayStation
You can easily download UFL in a few easy steps and begin playing the game. Here’s how

Step 1: Open the PlayStation Store on your Sony PlayStation

Step 2: Open the search bar and search for ‘UFL’

Step 3: Click on the UFL listing (the one that has Cristiano Ronaldo on it) and click the ‘Add to library’ button.

That’s it. UFL should now begin downloading on your phone, and once completed, you can open the game and start setting it up.


Note that UFL is currently not available for gaming laptops, and you can only play the game on a PlayStation, like the Sony PlayStation 5 Slim, or an Xbox Series X/S console.

How is UFL different from the FIFA/EA Sports FC games?
There are many aspects that separate UFL from the FIFA/EA Sports FC series. For starters, the game will be free to play, which will allow anyone (on a supported platform) to download, install and play the game right away, with a sign-up likely being the only pre-requisite.

Whether UFL becomes an annually upgrade like the FIFA/EA Sports FC games, or becomes a single, constantly updated game (like PUBG: Battlegrounds and Fortnite) remains to be seen, but the developers are clear on the fact that no purchasing will be required to access the game.

Moreover, there will be no emphasis on ‘pay-to-win’ models, which allows those ready to spend real cash, an unfair advantage over those who don’t.
