Dark Souls Remastered - Soul/Humanity Quantity Dupe with Controller

A new method for performing the Quantity Usage/Pocket Frampt dupe glitch without needing to use the mouse cursor. Lets you get lots of souls from regular consumable souls very quickly. Known to work on PS4. Much faster than the riposte dupe if you want to get a lot of souls quickly.

Text Explanation:

1. Quit and reload the game or look at a quantity prompt with the value you wish to use for the dupe.

For example the purchase or drop menus for arrows - note that you do not need to buy or drop the arrows to use the quantity, you just need to see the prompt.

2. Get the double menu open by highlighting 'brightness' in the menu pressing A/X and then the right bumper to have the brightness menu open on top of the inventory menu.

3. Press A/X to select the item in the inventory menu *while the cursor is highlighting 'brightness'*.

This opens the normal use/drop/reorder menu from the inventory underneath the brightness menu without changing the brightness menu itself. This is why it is easiest if the item is in the top spot in your inventory, other spots also work as long as you can get 'brightness' selected in the visible menu (not OK or Defaults).

4. Press down+left (or down+right) to advance the brightness menu to 'OK' without changing what the menu underneath has selected.

If you don't manage to get this you will see the drop menu instead of the use menu. Alternatively you can hold down to get the hidden menu to advance twice while the brightness menu only advances once, and then press down 2 more times (I do this at 2:57 ).

5. Press right so the cursor is on 'Defaults' and press A/X to open the use menu

6. Press down to select the maximum quantity and use the soul/humanity

Note that after duping or after failing the dupe, if you've seen a quantity prompt you need to view the arrow drop/purchase quantity prompt again or quit and reload (depending on which dupe you are doing).
