US restored to interdicting & seizing vessel off the coast of Venezuela as Trump continue to mount pressure over Maduro. For the 2nd time in a month, Trump administration seized vessel near Venezuela in international waters, sources told Reuters. Move comes days after Trump announced a ‘blockade’ of all sanctioned oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela. Some oil tankers, however, were reported to reach the Chinese coasts, seemingly defying the US checks. Amid large scale military build-up by the US at its backyard, this comes as another reminder to the Latin American country. Neither the White House, nor Venezuela's oil ministry and state oil company PDVSA, responded to the report yet. There has been effective embargo in place, since US forces seized sanctioned oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela last week. Trump has also said that the United States’ land strikes on the South American country will soon start. Venezuela's Prez Maduro alleged, Trump aims to overthrow him to gain control over OPEC nation's oil resources.
