Okay but this was my genuine attempt at reimagining Elpenor being a part of the narrative (as much as I love making fun of his drama otherwise) and my idea was essentially Elpenor having a self-inflicted death because of mental strain from losing so many of his friends and comrades. It would essentially show how Ody failed both the people who died but also how he is failing the ones he has left. Idk something along those lines.
