On the red carpet at the Sinners world premiere, Blex Media caught up with rising star Jayme Lawson, who opened up about the personal growth and creative freedom she discovered while filming her role in Ryan Coogler’s supernatural period horror.

Jayme Lawson shared:
"There was a performance in this film that made me nervous—but I also felt a freedom I hadn’t tapped into before. We laughed a lot. There was real joy on set."

From her breakout roles in 'The Batman' and 'Till' to this haunting performance in 'Sinners,' Lawson continues to show why she’s one of Hollywood’s most compelling young talents.

Sinners is set in the 1930s Deep South and follows twin brothers facing supernatural forces, all anchored by a cast including Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Jack O’Connell, and more. The film hits theaters April 18, 2025.
