Royce Characterisation Suite at the University of Cambridge

Описание к видео Royce Characterisation Suite at the University of Cambridge

A part of the Royce Cambridge Physical Vapour Deposition and Characterisation Facility, a state-of-the-art technology platform allowing for electronic, structural and magnetic characterisation of low dimensional materials and devices.

Electronic characterisation from room temperature down to 300mK under applied magnetic fields of up to 9 T under vacuum or inert gas conditions is facilitated by using a Direct Current/Radio Frequency Cryo-probe station and other advanced research tools.

Magnetic characterisation is available through a Magnetic Property Measurement System using a Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM).

Structural Characterisation of the interface, surface, crystallography and thin film quality is accessible by using Atomic Force Microscope and Magnetic Force Microscope while our X-ray facility provides X-ray reflectivity, X-ray Diffraction and Small Angle X-ray Scattering.
