Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.

We are still with Eide & Caribert but have no idea where Dainsleif & Paimon have gotten too. Whilst we are out with Eide he thinks Caribert has left the house so we rush to catch up with him. Eide tells us about the piece of cloth around his wrist that allows Eide to tell Caribert apart from the others. It is not Caribert but another Hilichurl. We follow the Hilichurl into a domain to see what they are up too.

The Hilichurl are walking in such a strange pattern and even kneeling as they go. The Hilichurl don't attack us and let us walk past. There are puzzles in this domain that change how we see things. We end up on the ceiling but how? Has the gravity around us changed? After placing the runes we are greeted by a Fortune Lector that we must fight. Eide is impressed with our strength and wants to continue pushing forward.

Eventually, we find a large glowing crystal in the centre of the room. It looks very similar to the upside-down statue we have seen some time ago. Eide takes to his knees and we begin to hear a voice. Who could this voice even be and how do they know so much about us? We head back and Caribert is still laying in bed. Eide wants to try again, but this time Caribert wakes us and recognises his father. It really worked, Caribert has his memories and sense back. It does not take long for Caribert to realise his body is not the same and he is now a Hilichurl due to the curse. Eide tries to explain things in a way Caribert will understand without scaring him. Eide tells Caribert to never take off his mask, but why?

We want to know more about this mystery voice and head back to the domain. However, once we arrive at the same place the crystal has gone and there are not even Hilichurls here. What is going on and why is it no longer here? Again we head home but this time Caribert is missing. He now has his memories but it's dangerous for him to be outside alone. Eide believes that Caribert took his mask off and even looked in the mirror, but what could this have done to Caribert? We begin looking but end up bumping into some rangers. The Rangers have no idea about the Hilichurls and who they truly are. We manage to catch up with Caribert but something isn't right, he begins to glow purple. Cariberts mind couldn't take waking up in this state and he removed his mask.

We wake up back at the house and Eide is acting strange. Eide tells us that he knows who we really and and his real name is actually Chlothar Alberich, could he be related to Kaeya? He believes it was the power of the Abyss, could this be what Dainsleif was on about with Kaeya's family? He even calls us the Prince Of Khaenri'ah! What is going on, are we seeing Aether's memories? Luckily Dainsleif then wakes us up and we are back with Paimon. We tell Dainsleif about the name Chlothar Alberich and he even knows who we are talking about. We now all have more questions about the past than answers. It seems we have a lot more to find about about the past and our brother.
