Assetto Corsa - WTCR Round 4: Race of Spain - Motorland Aragon

The FIA ​​World Touring Car Championship is at the height of the season. After the races at Pau Ville, Nürburgring Nordschleife and Hungaroring, the WTCR arrives at Motorland Aragón in what will be the first and only event to be held on a circuit in Spain. This track is famous for its huge 1,726 meter long straight (with no chicane) and the continuous unevenness that the drivers have to cover and that has led to the comparison of the spanish track with that of Laguna Seca in US.

Getting to the top 10 starting from the back of the grid is no easy in WTCR. Despite the fact that during the first couple of laps we were all over the place, the positions were consolidated as the race settled and we could have a bit more of concentration to move up some positions.

Finally a last word for the track. The layout was designed by infamous Hermann Tilke and that is noticeable. It has some interesting sectors from a driver's point of view, but overall it looks like a dull circuit despite the many elevation changes and angles of attack in many of the corners. However it seems a very good track for motorcycling.
