Hey guys Micromax India showed us their brand new Canvas Spark.
Now this guy is gonna cost you just under 5000 4999 to be precise.
And it's gonna be available starting April 29 on Snapdeal.com exclusively.
Now I won't blame you for thinking that Micromax brought out this device in competition to the likes of let's say the Red mi 2 from Xiaomi or the A6000 from Lenovo which costs actually 1-2000 extra than this device.
The USB of the Canvas Spark is that it comes with Lollipop out of the box.
So I am gonna give you a closer look at the hardware.
It's a very beautiful device and will also gonna have a quick look at the overview and see how Lollipop runs on this device.
So let's have a closer look here.
The Canvas Spark has a 4.7inch screen 540*960 pixels.
So that's your small QHD resolution.
It's protected by Gorilla Glass 3 also it's an IPS screen.
So you would suppose to get slightly better you know viewing angles we gonna see those.
It's a pretty glossy screen so it will attract fair bit of finger prints.
You see the soft keys below the display on top of the display you would have the 2MP front camera the ear piece and your notification LED lights and sensors and stuff.
On the sides you will see there is a golden color ring.
Now this phone is all plastic make no mistake there is no metal part in it.
However this golden ring of plastic actually makes the phone look very very premium.
There is also the back side is boat shaped.
So it's kind of tapped towards the front on the sides.
So it looks thinner than it is and rest nicely on your palm.
So there is nothing much on the left side here.
Below you would see the micro USB 2.0 port and the mouth piece there.
Then here you have the power button and the volume rocker and then your 3.5mm jack out there.
Behind you have the 8MP auto focus camera and accompanied by an LED flash.
Your beautiful Micromax logo there and the speaker grill.
Now you can open the back flap.
I am just gonna open the back flap here and well the back flap is not exactly very rigid.
It's all plastic but still I think it would do fairly well in everyday life.
It hides 2 Sim card slots sim 1 supports 3G also supports micro SD card slot and then you have 2000mAh battery underneath.
You see that's the model number Q380.
Now talking about the specs the Canvas Spark powered by MediaTek CPU 1.3Ghz Clock speed 1GB of RAM 8GB of internal storage.
But then you have the micro SD card that can extend the internal storage up to 32GB of external storage.
And apart from that I told you about the camera and other things.
We will quickly take a look at the user interface now.
As I told you before the USB of this device is that it comes with Lollipop out of the box.
And actually things look pretty nice here.
It also looks kind of smooth not exactly buttery smooth.
But you also have lot's of widgets on the home page there.
No notification there you see the Lollipop style two step notifications out there yeah.
And then you can hold and you can bring out various things yeah.
So we gonna show you the user interface in depth when this device comes to our lab for full review.
But for this let's quickly check the settings and first the storage.
See you get just under 5GB out of 8GB which is well the usual and good enough.
And then I am gonna show you the about phone there you see it comes with 5.0 not 5.0.2 as I expected.
But 5.0 which is equally good and good enough.
So I am just gonna show you the available RAM in usual condition.
You can see out of 1GB about 390MB of RAM is available which is kind of you can say about 20-20% is remaining.
Catch this 160MB and 412MB are in use.
Now I can go ahead and close all the recent apps see there's lot's of recent apps you can see.
So obviously that would have effected the RAM.

Then nearest Lollipop device that you would get cost about 3000 or about 2000 more than this which is Moto E 2nd Generation gonna be available starting April 29 on Snapdeal.com exclusively.
