I have owned the car since 2003. It had to be "Special Ordered" for it's time. I was one of the very first to own a STI in the states and no test drive till I bought the car. Before the STI I sold my registered RHD EG6 "TRUE JDM" for something new, test drove the WRX and when done the salesman told me about the STI version coming out. So I said "Hell yeah, I'll take a white one". Come to find out it was a 3 month waiting period minimum. But I couldn't wait so I ordered the Java Black one which still took a while to get. It's been a love hate relationship due to it being a new tuner car to the states, but finally now you can find great tuners, parts and fellow Subie owners all over. Love the Subie scene the people are great and show nothing but love...
