LIVE PROTEST IN LAGOS : HUNGER PROTEST DAY 2 #EndbadGovernance

On Day 2 of the "Hunger Protest" in Lagos, participants continued to gather to express their grievances against the prevailing economic hardships and governance issues in Nigeria. The protests, organized under the hashtag #EndBadGovernance, are scheduled from August 1 to 10, 2024. Despite a court order restricting the demonstrations to designated areas—Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota and Peace Park in Ketu—the protests have persisted, with significant police presence ensuring order and security.

There have been reports of threats from unidentified groups warning against participation, aiming to deter protesters by highlighting potential dangers. Nonetheless, organizers and participants remain determined, emphasizing their constitutional right to peaceful assembly​
