We're talking about the real deal - the kind you find in local homes, not tourist shops. We spent time with a local family, learning their traditional methods of preparing Berbere. It was a hands-on experience that was totally eye-opening! We even got to help grind the spices, which was surprisingly therapeutic. We also cooked up some delicious Ethiopian dishes using our freshly ground Berbere. Trust us, your taste buds are in for a treat. We tried everything from Shiro, a savory chickpea stew, to injera, the spongy flatbread that's a staple in Ethiopian cuisine. After that, we hit the Shola market to find even more spice goodness.
