Arsalan opened their first branch in Park Circus, Kolkata on October 6, 2002. The restaurant is known for their exquisite array of biryanis and Mughlai delicacies. Arsalan food menu is a tribute to one of the oldest culinary heritage of India, featuring their renowned Kolkata chicken biryani and mutton biryani, each crafted with the best and some secret ingredients and unique techniques.

With 11 branches in Kolkata and one in Dubai, Arsalan has opened their restaurant in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi in January 2025.

We tried their famous Special Mutton Biryani. With two tender pieces of mutton, boiled egg and a large potato, this biryani is sufficient for two people. The mutton biryani was probably the best we have tasted in Delhi NCR. We though the prices of this mutton biryani was slightly on the higher side.
