9 Holes With A Scratch Golfer | Steady/Boring But Effective

Don't scratch golfers shoot the lights out? Absolutely not.
In this video I play 9 holes at Shirland Golf and Country Club and show how steady but smart golf IQ is the key to shooting the lowest score possible. It is all about understanding your misses, where to miss, and playing the percentages. Scratch golfers average 2.2 birdies per round compared to 20 handicappers 0.2 birdies,so it shows it's not the amount of birdies that differ greatly. Still, it is eliminating those big numbers, 3 off the tees and those deadly 3 putts.
My swing did not feel great today in this video, but I minimize my misses my short game IQ has improved greatly and with my limited practise time, the small time I've spent on putting distance control is key for me eliminating as much as possible the 3 putts.
