Step Recordings starts its 2021 with a bang: in January they drop an EP coming from Shall Not Fade and Madhouse's usual suspect Ruff Stuff.

After releasing music from Baltra, Pantera Krause, Third Son and more, Catz N' Dogz are adding another rising talent to their Step's catalogue: Ruff Stuff. The Italian born, Berlin based producer delivers 4 hot House tinged tracks to warm up the winter.

Ruff Stuff has put together for STEP a collection of warm analogue sounding tracks, driven by soulful pads, relentless 4/4 grooves, smooth and deep basslines. The EP opens up with the fast paced 'Daily Routine', guided by a wonderfully programmed 909 drum beat. Following is 'Let It Move', a deep cut permeated by a classic House vibe, where you can really hear Ruff Stuff's personal touch. 'River Side', with its percussion and sampled voice is another gem, one of those unstoppable tracks that looks at Chicago for inspiration. The EP closes with 'Ma Love': straight groove, bright stabs, rumbling bass: dancefloor killer.
