Hope you all are doing great.
Lets say you have a Linux machine where a process is already actively listening on a given IP and Port combination of your choice. Lets assume its some sort of a server process which is accepting socket connections and serving requests. Now, can you spawn more such processes and make them listen on the same IP and Port? In other words can you have multiple Linux sockets bind to same IP and Port?

However you will need to use a specific socket option to do so and how the sockets will behave in this case with respect to the incoming connections is pretty interesting and has some awesome practical implications.
