Head N of Scion to the coast and you'll see Naula Cave. Make sure you have a few of each of the support item, as you'll need to light the area and mapping helps a lot (I won't mention this again for future dungeons, so assume it)

Follow the path to the door and open it with the Naula Key. Head W and then S at the split. Open the door to reach B2F.

Follow the path S and head E at the split then S and follow the path to B3F.

Follow the path to a four way split and head N to reach B4F.

Head S and then W and N at splits to find the bakery in the cave and biy the Shortcake for 280 Mesetas.

Now make your back out of the dungeon and head for Paseo on Motavia.
Head to the house just N with the two guards and enter. The guard will let you pass as you have Shortcake.

The Governor is friendly and offers you advice on how you can defeat LaShiec. We'll need an Esper, one called Lutz who lives in Mahal Cave. We're given a letter to give to him.

You sleep in the Palace and have a Nightmare, a fight you're intended to lose.
Speak to the Governor afterwards and he'll give the location of Mahal Cave and Alisia will mention the nightmare.

Spend a few minutes grinding outside Paseo, get Alisia to at least level 16 for Tolupa. Head to Parolit to top up on items and then leave Paseo to the NW (not the coast area).

Enter Mahal Cave and head around either way until you're S on an outer area of the starting location. Head S from here then W for Submachine Gun. Use the Submachine over the Heat Gun, it will do more damage to groups of 3 or more, and most enemies at the moment will get taken out in 2 hits of it without any other damage.

From here head E and ignore the split you took to get here and the next one, taking the third split N and follow the path until you're heading W. Head all the way W for a chest with 1,000 Meseta then head E and take the second S split you see for a door to B2F.

Follow the path to a split then head S and W for a door to B3F.

Follow the path and head N at a split and open the door. Follow the path and head E at the split for another door. Follow the path for 5,000 Mesetas.
Head back to the initial split on the floor and find a chest for 2,000 Mesetas down the other path.

Head back to B2F and head E and then N, ignoring the path W to B1F.
Head W to a split and take the S path. Take both splits for a Searchlight and 2,000 Mesetas then head back and keep heading W.

Take the next split S and then head W S W for another branching path area. Head N for Peloriemate then all the way S for Roginine.
Head back N and take the split you ignored E and snake SE for another branching path. In the W you'll find another Roginine and at the other N split you'll find Lutz through a door.

You'll show him the letter and he'll join you after mentioning the town of Gothic and Dr. Luveno. Use Surto with Lutz to exit the cave and Tolupa with Alisia to warp to Paseo (the only available area on Motavia). I would always recommend using this combo on leaving a dungeon, unless you want to grind on the way out and have the resources to do so.

In Paseo buy a White Mantle for Lutz and head back to Motavia. Top up in Parolit then save to end the part in the spaceport.
