Your Weekly Denver City Council Wrap-Up – September 13th, 2024

This week, the Finance and Governance Committee sent to the full Denver City Council a contract for a residential reentry facility at 570 W. 44th Ave in Council District 9. The purchase will allow the City to step away from for-profit corrections providers.

The South Platte River Committee sent to the full Council plans and rules for redevelopment in the Ball Arena area. If passed by Council, 6,000 units of housing would be built in addition to a park, rec center and more.
