Ford launched the F-Series truck in 1948, and 51 of those 70 years it's been the #1 pickup in Canada. Our Spotlight is on the 2018 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew. Read our full review: https://goo.gl/tKwGrV

Last year we had the chance to feature a slightly less equipped 2017 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew to go over all the features, buttons, and options found during our old TestDrive format. We're now looking at the refreshed model with more options, such as the 302A equipment package, FX4 off-road package, dual sunroofs, and much more. Coming in at $57,594.00, this F-150 is less of a no-frills work truck and more like an SUV alternative for families.

We cover all the features and options found on this Ford F150 in our full-tour and review of this light duty pickup truck. We show all the exterior features like the rear parking sensors and backup camera, LED lights in the bed, and poor-performing halogen headlights. We jump inside to show the larger Sync3 screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated front seats, air conditioning, and much more.

The other big change with this truck over our review from last year is the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine featuring a twin-turbo setup. Producing 325 horsepower and a bumped up 400 lb-ft of torque, the smallest engine actually produces quite a bit of power in the F-150 lineup. We go over the power and specs of this trim and option set, as well as talk about fuel economy.

We wrap up our Spotlight by going over our likes and dislikes about this truck, and talk about some of the reasons we think the Ford F-Series pickup truck has been the best-selling pickup truck in Canada for 51 years.
