The 2024 Quota Reform Movement in Bangladesh has become one of the most significant and turbulent social movements in the country's recent history. The movement began in response to a court decision that reinstated a system in which over 50% of government jobs were reserved for specific groups, including 30% for descendants of those who fought in Bangladesh's 1971 War of Independence. Due to the death of many lives in the movement, the students demand stepdown of the prime minister. Finally, the prime minister left the country after handing over the power.
