How to attach an aventail to your bascinet.

Usually this is done by stitching the maille to a piece of leather that is held to the bascinet with vervelles.

In this video I take a look at how I sew the maille to the leather support, what materials I use and a couple of other tips I have learnt along the way.

It is reasonably straight forward but can take a couple of goes to get exactly right, hopefully this will help you get there first time round.
