I'm back on my favorite drop tower! Voltrum is located in the excellent bavarian theme park called Bayern-Park in Reisbach, Germany.

Not only is it pretty tall, but it delivers surprisngly strong airtime. Funtime models are good when it comes to the airtime, but this is borderline insane. It feels morel ike an Intamin tower to be honest, almost ejector airtime! The restrains help a lot I think. It feels like you only have a lapbar, since the laps are the only part of your body that comes into contact with the restrains.
You can lean a bit forwards to appreciate the height! I mean, look at the views over the wonderful bavarian landscape! Isn't it beautiful?

It also has some light theming elements that to look brilliant I think. In the queue there are multiple glowing and lit up parts that resemble a huge electrical device and the drop tower itself I think is a huge Tesla coil/tower?
There are the sound effects and lights while the drop itself is happening to make the waiting process more interesting. I never had to wait though, since it's a very extreme ride in a family focused theme park the lines usually aren't too big, if existent at all.
