Let’s say that you need to thicken borders in excel, such as in this example worksheet.

To do this, left click and drag over the cells where you want to thicken the borders, here, cells B4, over to D9, and release the click and hold so all of the cells are highlighted. Next, right click anywhere in the highlighted area, and a pop up box will appear. In the box, left click on Format cells.

Another box will appear, and in this box, left click on the border tab near the top of the box. In here, in the style section, left click on the thick border icon. Next, we need to left click on all of the little icons where we want to apply thicker borders, as you see I am doing here. And you will see the preview diagram apply the thicker borders. From here, left click on OK, and, now the thicker borders have been applied in the worksheet.
