The Devonshire Street Tunnel is a 300 metre long pedestrian tunnel connecting Devonshire Street in the East and Lee Street in the West.
It opened in 1906 and was refurbished in the 1970’s which saw the runnel extended by 80 metres under Railway Square.
In 1985, murals of trains and railway related infrastructure were painted on the walls of the tunnel.
