I was fortunate enough to get to spend a few hours shooting this video at Stillhead Distillery here in Duncan the other day, and I gotta say, I left an even bigger fan than I already was, which is really saying something as I was already a pretty huge fan of the place!

Located at 5301 Chaster Rd here in Duncan, Stillhead is genuinely one of the raddest spots in the whole Cowichan Valley, and definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

It's just such an amazingly cool space, with some super cool and interesting distilling equipment to look at, a really warm and stylish vibe and of course all their amazing whiskeys and other spirits! These guys really nailed the design of the space and their branding, and it just comes together in a way that feels distinctly local, yet also super modern and cool.

I also really appreciated the chance to chat with Brennan, one of Stillhead's owners, as his passion for the craft of distilling was pretty clearly evident, and its just super cool to hear the stories of the folks who are actively making the Cowichan Valley a better place for all of us to live.
