Is (possessing) wealth a greater pleasure, or is service in Rama's presence a greater pleasure? Answer me truthfully, O mind! Are curds, butter and milk more tasty? Or, is the nectarine essence of the meditation on and bhajana of Dasharatha's son more tasty? Is a bath of self-control and tranquility in the Ganga more comforting? Or, is a bath in the well of evil sense-objects more comforting? Is extolling of mere human beings, fettered in egotism more comforting? Or, is singing on the pure-minded Lord, praised by Tyagaraja, more comforting?
