Over many years we enjoyed going to the Great Dorset Steam Fair, right back into my childhood, and it was always an enjoyable event. I am posting this video because the last time that the steam fair was held was in 2022 and it is looking like it might be the last time that it will be held. As you see in the video it had many different attractions including the many traction engines, fairground organs and vintage engineering. There was also an area with Victorian Fairground rides, food stalls and a market. Many of the traction engines also appeared in the demonstration arena showing how they were originally used. We were sorry to hear that it was not being held in either 2023 or 2024 and I have just read that it will not be returning in 2025. So enjoy the memories capture in this video.
