Build a lightweight cornhole set!

Описание к видео Build a lightweight cornhole set!

I got a plan and my name is not stan. The plan is to wing it and I challenged myself to build a lightweight corn hole set made from scraps and hardware found in our garage.

Sometimes the moment calls for using simple tools that won’t wake the neighbors. These 1x2 pine sticks are incredibly versatile and easy to cut. I made a few pocket holes because you know, who likes to carry change?

The short pieces were glued to the long pieces and reinforced with screws. Two and a half inch pieces were nailed into the corners. And thus, a frame was born. Welcome to the world my child. It’s not that bad.

Next, the frame was traced onto a 2x4 piece of underlayment. A 6 inch hole 8 inches from the top was cut and sanded. After gluing and nailing the top, the overhang was cut with a circular saw and trimmed off with a flush router bit.

Time to build the legs by gluing two 9” pieces together. Using our builders square, we marked and cut a 20-ish degree angle and then dog-eared the other end. That same end is attached to the frame with a 3 inch carriage bolt locked into place with a washer and nut.

We gave it a little bit of character by throwing on some paint. And that’s pretty much it for this corn hole set. Or is it baggo board, or bean bag toss or tailgate toss. I don’t know. You guys tell me. Talk to you guys soon.
