Aris Mining just dropped a new study on its Soto Norte project in Colombia and the numbers are massive. Even after cutting upfront costs in half to $625M, the mine is expected to run for 22 years, producing over 200,000 ounces of gold a year. At $2,600 gold, the project is valued at $2.7B, and at $3,200 gold it jumps above $3.5B. Costs per ounce are some of the lowest anywhere, which makes this one of the most attractive gold projects in the world right now.
