補充說明：無色界，故名思義，已無色相，故無身器，只有神識，其心識可周徧於大千世界。所以很難描述”無色界天”的住處。因此呈現無色界在大千世界的範園內之頂，是為了彰顯世間禪定功夫的極致處。
Arupaloka, ie. formless realm, in which beings have no gross form and physical shape, only a consciousness, and is pervasive in a great chiliocosm; and correspondingly, the realm has no location either. Accordingly, for they attained the highest meditative states of consciousness, the formless realm is in the highest in a great chiliocosm.
