[Animenz] Kawaki wo Ameku (Crying for Rain) - Domestic na Kanojo OP [Synthesia Piano Tutorial]

Well, this sure took me a while.
I originally wanted to finish it in one go like my last transcription but after only 16 hours I was already so tired that I decided to not do that.
My original plan was to finish it the day after but when I saw that'd I'd be the last transcriber to finish again either way, I instead became obsessed with tempo-changes, dynamics and just making it sound as good and natural and what not as possible, to an unhealthy degree. It was probable not worth it given that most of the nuances are likely not even noticeable and this is also not really the piece for that.
Half of the time I had no idea what I was doing anyway and it was driving me to the verge of insanity... well, maybe past it...
I wont go further into detail but if you're interested I actually kept editing my comment under Animenz' video to... well, uhm... "document my progress".

This arrangement tho was rather arduous to transcribe in general, just a lot of notes and Animenz sure loves his Es in this one, they're just everywhere.

As for why I decided to transcribe this in the first place, this song is actually rather special to me.
Now I haven't watched Domestic Girlfriend (except for two eps the day before Animenz uploaded) but the original music video was the place where I first came across the strangely long, melancholic logs of a certain someone. And although continued in a different comment section, this song would mark the beginning of what would become a daily routine for me. The indirect exchange of mundane, everyday life experiences mixed in between the deeper, philosophical lines of thoughts, the occasional recommendation of various media, be it a song, a book, a movie or something else, the direct encouragement to keep going in life... the reading and the writing until eventually, the valediction... those were interesting times but they now lie in the past... a mere memory which I however still connect with this song...

Also, since people keep asking for midis I might open a Patreon in the future to provide them.
It'll be cheap, after all this is my passion, not my job.
If someone decides to pay more then they are welcome to do so but it's not on me to decide how much what I do is worth to others. Yes, some wont even think about that and just look for a way to get the midis as cheap as possible but then it's still nice for them to get it cheap I suppose. To me the worth of my work on this channel isn't mensurable in money anyway. Money is nice to have but I shall not focus on it outside of my job and as of now, this is not my job.
My views on this topic my change but as I see it now I'd like to keep my personal life/hobbies and my job separated because I know that some of the principles which I currently do my best to live by will get me nowhere in terms of establishing wealth in this system.

Now then, I may or may not be uploading regularly again from now on but we'll see. One of the reasons for my disappearance was that I had sent my digital piano, without which I feel uncomfortable working, in for repair and they took forever to get it done. They actually didn't even do a perfect job but I'm not sending my piano away for another two months.

Well well well, it's past 11 PM and I haven't even finished my ̶b̶̶r̶̶e̶̶a̶̶k̶̶f̶̶a̶̶s̶̶t̶ lunch. I've been sitting here for the past few hours working on the thumbnail (which didn't work out the way I wanted it to) and editing and fixing stuff and what not, with a half-eaten plate in front of me.
At this point everybody has stopped reading but to my future self proofreading this: Go to the kitchen, get some rice and finish your goddamn dish already, nobody cares about the description anyway!
