Dark Rebellion Phantom Knights! - Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Platinum Rank Replays! (More Meta Info)

Описание к видео Dark Rebellion Phantom Knights! - Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Platinum Rank Replays! (More Meta Info)

I've got another Phantom Knights video here for you guys today! As promised to some of the comments in my last video, I am uploading this with less fighting against fun decks, and more fighting against heavy meta decks! Including the hardest match of my life against Eldlich.

Due to people being "oh so nice" in pointing out that this is not pure due to the 2 main deck Burning Abyss monsters... looks at camera I have updated the name of this deck to PURE Dark Rebellion Phantom Knights. Meaning its sole purpose is Dark Rebellion with the main deck composed of, mostly, all PKs.

This variant of Phantom Knights is not strong enough to be meta. But it CAN go, rogue, if played right AND if you can learn to capitalize on your opponent's misplays. As stated before, this is not the " Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" version of this deck that uses things like Psychic Wheeler and the Danger! cards. This is a more "Pure" build that is focused on getting out "Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon" and his alternate forms, "ARC Rebellion XYZ Dragon" and "Dark Requiem XYZ Dragon".

I am not a professional, no matter how long I've been playing this game. I am human, I make misplays. It does make me laugh how many people feel the need to point them out when we can see them, but hey, more power to ya I guess.

"Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss" and "Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss" are in this deck, along with the extra deck Link Monster "Cherubini, Ebon Angel of the Burning Abyss", because the ability to get a free "The Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche" is just too good to pass up. And this is really how you want to begin these plays. Get 2 monsters out, Link Summon for Ebon Angel, send Graff to the grave to special summon Cir, then Link 3 into Rusty Bardiche. From then you can spam the field with Phantom Knights depending on how your hand was laid out. You typically want to get "The Phantom Knights of Torn Scale" out as quickly as possible, as he will not only fill the grave but be able to special summon from the graveyard when a PK is banished from the grave, which happens often.

I do run a single "Phantom Knights' Sword" and a few "Phantom Knights' Wing", and the reason is that this build is pure, PK's need a little extra help special summoning themselves.

We are running Hand Traps, because we are a bit slow without them against heavy combo decks that wish to do us harm. A stop on your combo is not always death, as PKs can recover, but you'll have to risk playing around the "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" that just ruined your Rusty's effect and negated his ability to blow up backrow.

In terms of Rusty, you're going to want to make sure you leave all your Opponents monsters on the field IF you can! Meaning let "The Phantom Knights of Break Sword" do the popping if your opponent only has a single backrow, but lots of monsters. The reason for this is ARC Rebellion's effect gives him the combined ATK of all monsters on the field. So the more monsters, the higher the damage! He has GREAT OTK potential, and your PK's abilities are perfect for clearing Backrow to make way for those damaging abilities!

It's best to let your opponent go first and work around their field since this is a heavy OTK-type deck. If you are going first, you have "Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss" you can play in Defense mode, to mill some cards to prep for the following turn, if you yourself don't get OTK'd. As I said before, this is not the meta variant of Phantom Knights, as that build is much more suited to fight Meta. So while this one can be Rouge and get the job of taking your opponent out before they can react, it's also very weak to things like Tri-Lyril, and Floodgates. That being said, PKs can handle Floodgates a lot better than other Pure Arc decks, so it for sure does have the ability to go rogue!
