Troubleshoot Pants Fitting Part 1 : Picking Your Size(s) & Tracing the Pieces

Today on Fit Tip Tuesday, I'm starting a new series: "Trouble Shoot Pants Fitting". This series is inspired by my experiences teaching pants fitting both in person and over zoom. There are steps in the process that have caused some of my students trouble... So I thought I would do a run through and spend time on them to make it easier for everyone! If you join me for a pants fitting class in the future, these tutorials will be a good resource (especially if you get tripped up past my bedtime and I don't see your question via text or email until the next day!) You can also follow along if you're fitting pants solo! . Part 1 is focused on how to pick the best starting size(s) and how to trace the pattern pieces. I will be using the Sorcha Classic Slim Trouser Pattern during this series... There are a lot of features of this pattern that will make it easier for you to achieve the fit you're looking for!
