Tensions rose as an MMDA clearing team started to remove a car wash from the sidewalk, beside a Barangay hall.

After this incident, the Barangay Chairman was summoned by the DILG, taken by the PNP for inquest and the car wash was smashed down.

Aside from obstructing the sidewalk which is intended for pedestrians, any customer using this car wash will further obstruct the road itself. This is a busy Mabuhay Lane in Manila City.
