KINGSTON, Jamaica - Jockey Dane Nelson produced one of his trademark bustling rides to guide home Little Chicago to victory in the seventh race on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Century Mile in Canada.
In doing so, Nelson sealed a double on the day. Little Chicago found success in a claiming event at a mile. Little Chicago is trained by Ron Grieves.
The post-race report reads as follows: “LITTLE CHICAGO reserved well off the pacesetters, gained closer order inside nearing the final turn, was roused at the three sixteenth pole then swept the lead, was under attack late, dug in under a late drive and held on bravely”.
