Hey there, Adam, what’s that you see?
A snake with sunglasses, winking at me!
Eve’s holding apples, but something ain’t right,
Better beware—don’t take a bite!

Don’t take a bite!
From that fruit tonight!
You’ll start overthinking,
Your clothes will need shrinking,
And fig leaves just don’t fit right!

So heed this verse, and kindly note:
That apple’s not your antidote.
For wisdom's fine, but comes with fees—
Like awkward talks and birds-and-bees.

Serpents are selling that knowledge real cheap,
“Just one small nibble and secrets you’ll keep!”
But now you know taxes, and Mondays arrive,
And you’re banned from the Garden for the rest of your life!

Don’t take a bite!
From that fruit tonight!
Your brain will be racing,
Your innocence chasing,
And paradise won’t be in sight!

So heed this verse, and kindly note:

You’ll learn about chores and about gravity,
Suddenly modest about all you see,
Who knew that an apple could cause such a fuss,
Now you’ve got “original problems” plus!

So if you see fruit with a sparkle or sheen,
Growing on trees where you haven’t yet been,
Resist your temptations, and heed what I say:
Keep your snacks boring—be wise today!

You’ll lose your free lodging,
To rent you’ll be dodging,
And snakes aren’t the best for advice!

So leave the fruit, go pet a lamb,
Stay blissfully unqualified for spam.
For knowing stuff, while kind of cool,
Just might make life... less Eden-school.
