In 1934 a young boy clung to the spectator fences at a newly-opened Cadwell Park and dreamed of becoming a racer.

In the 1960s, Bob Armiger achieved his dream, and with the help of world champion motorcycle racer Freddie Frith, pioneered safety in the sport of karting.

Bob is still a racer at heart, and he enjoys regular visits to Cadwell Park where he feels at home in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds surroundings.

Find out what happened when we reunited him with an 'in period' kart, thanks to the British Historic Kart Club in this latest 'Cadwell People' feature.
