Surrounded by poverty, strict religious beliefs, and extreme homophobia, I had no representation, no language for what I was feeling, and no one I could trust. This video is my story.

I’m sharing what it was like to grow up in an environment where everyone knows everything about you—except the part of yourself you’re terrified to admit.
