In this video, we implement a complete network given in a scenario:

Users: 100 (Top Management: 10, Managers: 30, Staff: 60.

Resources: 10 laptops, 90 Workstations, 16 network printers, 3 servers.

Building: 4 floors, where Top management is on 3rd Floor; Marketing, Sales, Production, Legal and Technical departments are on 2nd Floor; Procurement, Public Relations, Customer Support, HR and Quality Assurance are on 1st Floor; Accounts, Finance, Administration, IT, and Printing departments are on Ground Floor.

• All departments have their assigned workstations and 1 networked printers. Top management has 2 printers.
• Beside these, all uses have their smart phone devices connected to the internet using dedicated Wireless network which is not connected with the internal network.
• Top management has separate internet connectivity comprising of both wired and wireless connectivity.
• Rest of the computers are connected via ethernet

Part 1 Design efficient networked systems
1. Design a network using any drafting tool and/or you may use Network Simulation software (i.e. Packet Tracer)
2. Design a maintenance plan that would include the desired and expected outcomes from the designed network.
3. Cover every aspect, which you feel completes the design of the network.
4. You may get the design consulted with your peer-group and evaluate their observations for improving your design.

Part 2 Implement test and diagnose networked systems
1. Implement your design using CISCO Packet Tracer
2. Demonstrate the implementation and testing of the system to the panel
3. Maintain a thorough report.
